Leadership Collaborative™ – Training Combined with Group Coaching

The 70-20-10 Model for Learning and Development, created by the Center for Creative Leadership, is a commonly used formula within the training profession to describe the optimal sources of learning by successful managers. It holds that individuals obtain 70% of their knowledge from job-related experiences, 20% from interactions with others, and 10% from formal educational events.

Unlike most training programs that only focus in the 10% bucket, we’ve created a program that goes deeper. Participants will have an opportunity to put new learning into practice, push boundaries to expand their skills and integrate feedback for sustained performance improvement. We do this through igniting a richer learning experience that includes traditional classroom learning combined with group learning (group coaching and group work). We utilize the full learning model for extended embedded learning, which increases the learning experience.

That’s pretty radical!

This is an eight week program that starts with a collaborative, two-hour workshop and then the group meets with their coach every two weeks throughout the program.

Leading Through Uncertainty – Workshop Overview:

Many leaders are struggling to lead during these uncertain times. One of the most challenging aspects of change management is the human aspect of the response. Leaders often focus on planning for the change itself without giving much thought to transitions, which is the psychological reorientation that people experience in response to the change. By developing crisis leadership skills, participants will gain confidence to lead during these unsettled times. Participants can expect the following:

• Experienced Facilitators keep participants engaged throughout sessions using polling, and interactive, small group breakout activities.
• Participants will be sent pre-work and given in session activities.
• Gain a coaching mindset on leading through uncertain times.
• Understand brain science and how it plays a role in stress during change.
• Learn strategies to manage stress.
• Explore solutions for successful change and transition.
• Develop engagement strategies during change.

Leadership™ Collaborative – Group Coaching Overview:

• Six hours of group coaching is included and spread out over eight weeks following workshop to integrate content facilitated by a certified coach.
• Participants will have an opportunity to collaborate with and learn from peers from a variety of organizations with similar goals on an ongoing basis.
• Identify your ideal outcomes, track progress & accountability, Facebook Group, on-track partner assigned, weekly emails, reading materials, and assignments.
• Wrap up at the end of the program to celebrate accomplishments and plan for continued progress.
