Leadership Collaborative™ – Training Combined with Group Coaching

The 70-20-10 Model for Learning and Development, created by the Center for Creative Leadership, is a commonly used formula within the training profession to describe the optimal sources of learning by successful managers. It holds that individuals obtain 70% of their knowledge from job-related experiences, 20% from interactions with others, and 10% from formal educational events.

Unlike most training programs that only focus in the 10% bucket, we’ve created a program that goes deeper. Participants will have an opportunity to put new learning into practice, push boundaries to expand their skills and integrate feedback for sustained performance improvement. We do this through igniting a richer learning experience that includes traditional classroom learning combined with group learning (group coaching and group work). We utilize the full learning model for extended embedded learning, which increases the learning experience to maximum potential.

That’s pretty radical!

This is an eight week program that starts with a collaborative, two-hour workshop and then the group meets with their coach every two weeks throughout the program.

Leader as Coach – Workshop Overview:

Right now, more than ever, coaching skills are vital for successful leadership. This workshop is for leaders at all levels who are interested in taking their leadership to the next level with a particular focus in coaching. Now is is the time to make this investment and create a coaching culture within your organization. Facilitators are experienced Hudson and ICF-certified coaches.

• Experienced Facilitators keep participants engaged throughout sessions using polling, and interactive, small group breakout activities.
• Participants will be sent pre-work and given in session activities.
• Explore the traits of Emotional Intelligence and why they are important as a coach.
• Identify your coaching style and how it works with others.
• Gain a coaching mindset on leading through uncertain times.
• Develop a curiosity mindset as a leader.
• Learn how to use coaching as a tool for engagement.

Leadership™ Collaborative – Group Coaching Overview:

• Six hours of group coaching is included and spread out over eight weeks following workshop to integrate content facilitated by a certified coach.
• Participants will have an opportunity to collaborate with and learn from peers from a variety of organizations with similar goals on an ongoing basis.
• Identify your ideal outcomes, track progress & accountability, Facebook Group, on-track partner assigned, weekly emails, reading materials, and assignments.
• Wrap up at the end of the program to celebrate accomplishments and plan for continued progress.
