Leadership Collaborative™ – Training Combined with Group Coaching

The 70-20-10 Model for Learning and Development, created by the Center for Creative Leadership, is a commonly used formula within the training profession to describe the optimal sources of learning by successful managers. It holds that individuals obtain 70% of their knowledge from job-related experiences, 20% from interactions with others, and 10% from formal educational events.

Unlike most training programs that only focus in the 10% bucket, we’ve created a program that goes deeper. Participants will have an opportunity to put new learning into practice, push boundaries to expand their skills and integrate feedback for sustained performance improvement. We do this through igniting a richer learning experience that includes traditional classroom learning combined with group learning (group coaching and group work). We utilize the full learning model for extended embedded learning, which increases the learning experience to maximum potential.

That’s pretty radical!

This is a six week program that starts with a collaborative, two-hour workshop and then the group meets with their coach every two weeks throughout the program.

Emerging Leaders – Workshop Overview:

This workshop is perfect for someone in their first few years of a leadership role. New leaders often struggle because they are not given the skills to be successful. This results in high cost to the organization in low engagement, productivity and turnover. Join us for a high impact and collaborative three-hour virtual workshop. Experienced Facilitators keep participants engaged throughout sessions using polling, and interactive, small group breakout activities. Participants will be sent pre-work and given in session activities.

  • Each participant will be sent a digital DISC assessment before workshop, which takes only 8 minutes to complete, and will receive feedback and a complete set of reports, which will help you:*
  • Learn how to adapt your style to work with others
  • Understand your strengths and value to the organization
  • Learn the foundational skills of Emotional Intelligence and why it is important now more than ever
  • Explore best practices in communication
  • Learn and develop high impact feedback
  • Discuss the key differences between managing and leading

LeadershipCollaborative – Group Coaching Overview:

  • 4.5 hours of group coaching is included and spread out over six weeks following workshop to integrate content facilitated by a certified coach.
  • Participants will have an opportunity to collaborate with and learn from peers from a variety of organizations with similar goals on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify your ideal outcomes, track progress & accountability, Facebook Group, on-track partner assigned, weekly emails, reading materials, and assignments.
  • Wrap up at the end the program to celebrate accomplishments and plan for continued progress.
